Fairy Tale Ending

It's a story with a fairy tale ending.

A couple of years ago, I wrote what I thought was a bit of an odd duck of a story. Just an idea that sprung from my head while I was mowing the lawn.

Not sure why, but I get a lot of ideas from mowing lawns.

But I digress.

Anyway, it was one of those stories that I wasn't sure what to do with, so I set it aside. Then the lovely Kristina Wright posted a call for her first Cleis Anthology, Fairy Tale Lust.

The opening line of the story referenced the fairy tale "The Ugly Duckling."

Hmm.

The moral of the story? Sometimes you have to be patient in waiting for that "match made in heaven." My story, "Ducking", found its match when it was accepted for the collection.

And the Fairy Tale news keeps coming! My story will be included along side stories by a veritable "Who's Who" of erotica authors.

Here are just a few: Janine Ashbless, Jeremy Edwards, Justine Elyot, Shanna Germain, Charlotte Stein, Alana Noel Voth, Saskia Walker...

A true Fairy Tale ending, Methinks.

If your protag is voyeuristic, then I guess that would be the peeking duck.

So glad to be in the pond with you and your swan of a story!

Stories are sometimes like wine, Danielle.

They need to be properly aged.

I love the story of your story, Craig.

I have a story for you: "Ducking" was the first story I selected for the collection! Thanks for a great tale.

(And J-- you need to take your comedy routine on the road!)

Hi Kristina,

What an honor that "Ducking" was first to be selected.

Thank you!
